Telling our donor conception story – the impact of society and relationships

Monday 6th December 2021 – 8pm (GMT)

I’ll be joined by Senior Sociology Lecturer and Researcher, Petra Nordqvist, to talk about her research into reproductive storytelling, particularly in relation to donor conception. She’ll share more about the shift to openness within donor conception, exploring what barriers may have been put in the way through society’s expectations and narratives. We’ll focus on parents as storytellers, linking into wider family relationships and roles as well as talking about navigating conversations with children and wider family too, including having multiple storytellers around us.

As with all Paths to Parenthub webinars, members have the chance to shape the conversation by submitting your questions ahead of the webinar and on the night.
