“The gifts of imperfection” in donor conception

Monday 27th March 2023 – 8pm (BST)

We so often focus on the challenges and the fears when it comes to donor conception, which is important, but what about all of the incredible things that have been born out of this path to parenthood.

The wonderful Julianne Boutaleb, perinatal psychologist and founder of Parenthood in Mind, joins me in this webinar as we talk about the “gifts of imperfection”, how it may not be the path we had always imagined we would take, but there is still so much beauty to be celebrated.

We focus on what can be gained, as opposed to focusing on what is lost and we invited members to contribute in sharing what ‘gifts’ this path has brought to them. We wanted to create an uplifting session that can help to ground us when we’re feeling overwhelmed, allowing us to gain perspective and truly be grateful for the ‘gifts of imperfection’ within donor conception.
