Tuesday 21st March 2023 – 8pm (GMT)
We so often focus on the challenges and the fears when it comes to donor conception, which is important, but what about all of the incredible things that have been born out of this path to parenthood.
The wonderful Julianne Boutaleb, perinatal psychologist and founder of Parenthood in Mind, will be joining me for a webinar as we talk about the “gifts of imperfection”, how it may not be the path we had always imagined we would take, but there is still so much beauty to be celebrated.
We’ll focus on what can be gained, as opposed to focuisng on what is lost and will invite members to contribute in sharing what ‘gifts’ this path has brought to them. We want to create an uplifting session that can help to ground us when we’re feeling overwhelmed, allowing us to gain perspective and truly be grateful for the ‘gifts of imperfection’ within donor conception.
As with all Paths to Parenthub webinars, members have the chance to shape the conversation by submitting your questions ahead of the webinar and on the night, I hope you will join us there.
(Please note that all webinars and live chats are recorded and made available the following day to members within the Paths to Parenthub website and the community app too).
Julianne is a highly experienced perinatal psychologist, who has worked for over 17 years in the NHS and in private practice with individuals and couples adversely impacted by infertility issues. As a member of BICA, she lectures and writes on how individuals and couples who are trying to conceive (TTC), pregnant or parenting following ART (IVF, ICSI, donor conception, surrogacy) or adoption may be psychologically affected.
